Complying with Martyn’s Law
The Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025, is an upcoming UK legislation that sets out stricter security requirements for public venues. Ultimately, all public accessed venues will fall under two tiers depending on their security needs. Tier One, the Standard Tier, refers to premises with 200-799 people present. They will require CCTV, access controls and intruder alarms. Tier Two, the Enhanced Tier, covers public venues with 800+ people present and will need more advanced security measure such as lockdown alarms. OHEAP Fire & Security offer guidance with complying to Martyn’s Law requirements and deliver security solutions that meet these venue security needs.
