High Visibility Clothing

First invented in the 1930s and typically worn on the torso or arms, high visibility clothing is utilised in almost every industry. Often fluorescent or reflective, this material is designed to increase a person’s visibility in a low light, low visibility or hazardous condition.

It’s ability to suit a multitude of industries has made high visibility extremely recognisable. Predominantly manufactured using fluorescent bright colours (orange or yellow), these garments are easily identifiable during the day. The reflective element of high visibility clothing allows the garment to reflect light back to its source. This means that if a car’s headlights hit you, you will be much more visible to the driver.

High visibility clothing can be worn by anyone who wants to increase their safety while working. We supply rail workers (fettlers), electricians, mining, aerospace, automotive/transport, mechanics, welders, cyclists and operators of heavy vehicles.

Our Waterproof Work Clothing Meets EN343 European Standards

Here at OHEAP, we take pride in providing the highest quality waterproof work clothing. All of our items are tested using EN343 European Standards for protective clothing. This system measures the protection against precipitation and breathability in those conditions.

Waterproof workwear items are measured using a two-category system X:Y. X measures the protection against precipitation whereas Y measures the breathability in those conditions. The measurements go from 1-3 with 3 being the highest form of protection. Any garment with 3:3 is the highest level of protection:breathability.

  • 1:3 = Minimum level of rain protection, highest breathability
  • 3:1 = Highest level of rain protection, not classified as breathable
  • 2:2 = Intermediate rain protection, intermediate level of breathability

Flame Retardant Workwear: Protecting You from Heat and Fire

Working with open flames, molten metals or extreme heats can cause devastating skin burns.

At OHEAP, we offer a wide range of flame retardant workwear that meets or exceeds all of the requirements set out by the EN ISO 11612 standard.

Our FR clothing possesses the ability to withstand ignition or self-extinguish once set alight. Often manufactured using natural resource such as wool or cotton, many of our garments are inherently fire retardant meaning they will withstand multiple washes.

Arc Flash Clothing

Arc flash is a serious electrical hazard that can cause serious injury or death. What is Arc flash? It’s a dangerous effect that can occur when an electric current passes through the air from one conductor to another. If you work with or around electricity, it’s important to know what arc flash is and how to protect yourself from it.
