OHEAP Fire & Security is a third-generation family-run business. We’ve been protection specialists since 1958 and are trusted by over 7000 customers nationwide. We’re also behind several of the largest ecommerce websites in the Fire Protection & Health Safety industry. Due to exceptional growth we’re now looking to expand our Finance Department with the addition of an Accounts Assistant.

Who You Are

We’re looking for hard working individual who has previous experience working in an accounting or finance function. You’ll have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills and an eagerness to learn.

To be suitable for this role you will need:

  • Strong excel skills
  • To be IT and technology competent
  • The ability to work on multiple tasks
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good organisational skills
  • Previous relevant experience

The Role

Working as part of a small but hardworking team your duties and responsibilities will include:

– Sagepay & PayPal reports

– Imports of Sales Receipts into Exchequer

– Sales Ledger Allocations

– Export of Sales Invoices

– Reconciliation of Sales Receipts to Sales Ledger

– Printing & coding of Purchase Invoices

– Checking of Purchase Invoices to Purchase Orders

– Import of Purchase Invoices

– Reconciliation of Supplier Statements

– Credit notes – printing and refunding

– Filing
