This week has seen the implementation of new responsibilities for two staff members, Ian Harrison and Colin Offer.
Ian Harrison takes on the position of Electrical Department Operations Manager with overall responsibility for all the Electrical Division’s activities. This includes the specification, design and installation of new suppression systems and also encompasses the planned preventative maintenance department. Ian has 20 years’ experience in the industry and has been with OHeap for 3 years. His expertise is extensive having worked with most of the major service providers and manufacturers in the UK, however, fire suppression and special hazards are his particular forte. Ian commented on his new role “I am delighted to be taking overall responsibility for the Electrical Division. My new role will enable OHeap to provide a better service to customers using the wealth of experience I have gained in all sectors of the fire protection industry”.
Colin Offer retains his title of Electrical Division Manager but expands his role to include customer support for existing installations and accounts. His appointment will ensure that customers receive the highest levels of service at all points in the ordering, commissioning and maintenance of fire alarm and emergency lighting systems. Colin has worked for OHeap for 11 years and also brings a wealth of experience to the role from his background Fire Protection Industry. Colin commented on his new role “I am delighted to be taking on a more customer-focussed role. I believe it will ensure that OHeap provides the best levels of service in the industry.”
