Brief description of the work Fixing of portable fire extinguishers and hose reels

Sequence of work and how Engineers are trained and experienced operations are controlled to fix portable fire extinguishers to current British Standards. Environmental and customer requests will be considered at all times

On site supervision arrangements
No on or off site supervisory arrangements are required, service engineers are trained to work unaccompanied and adhere to any on site safety procedures and practices

Individual responsible for controls
The senior service engineer and our monitoring performance service coordinator are responsible for auditing, monitoring and controlling performance

Plant and equipment to be used and Hand tools i.e. screwdrivers and low operator training requirements voltage battery operated or 110-volt equipment to be used. Engineers are trained for equipment’s safe use

Occupational Health Assessments
Assessments are prepared and available
(risk, noise, Coshh, etc) from our operatives and any local
consideration regarding risk, noise etc will be taken into account

Safety of third parties
Close liaisons with on site management is ensured for the safety of third parties

Environmental Controls
Any environmental controls required will be strictly adhered to

First Aid and PPE requirements Operative’s carry a comprehensive first aid kit and are provided with all necessary PPE required for the nature of this task

Emergency Procedures
Any local emergency procedures will be adhered to and our own emergency procedures assessed on site
